Returning No Limits Athletes
No Limits VBC can communicate and offer verbal/receive commitments to any returning players from the 2024 season at any time up to the acceptance date which is (July 16th, 2024) and beyond if teams are not completed. No Limits can not provide a written contract or accept any payment from returning athletes for the 2024-2025 season until the Acceptance Dates: ALL AGES!!! - 7/16/2024. We highly suggest any returning No Limit athletes to attend as many pre-tryout clinics, positionals, camps, and lessons during (May 6th-July 16th) to continue to develop their skills to prepare for the 2024-2025 season. If a returning No Limits player that receives a verbal offer is not seen during the pre-tryout process they might be subject to losing their verbal offer and spot on any given team for the upcoming season.
ATHLETES NEW To No Limits VBC
Athletes from other clubs that are interested in participating at No Limits for the 2024-2025 season are now allowed to receive verbal offers from No Limits starting on May 6th 2024. No Limits can show interest and communicate openly with new athletes prior to the acceptance date - 7/16/2023. No Limits can not provide a written contract or accept any payment for the 2024-2025 season from new athletes until the Acceptance Dates: ALL AGES!!! - 7/16/2024. We highly suggest new athletes to attend as many pre-tryout clinics, positionals, camps, and lessons during (May 6th-July 16th) and also express their interest in No Limits and the team/coach they intend to try out for. If a new athlete to No Limits receives a verbal offer, but is not seen consistently during the pre-tryout process they might be subject to losing their verbal offer and spot on any given team for the upcoming season.
HOW TO BE EVALUATED FOR A TEAM AT NO LIMITS VBC
- Attend as many of the following Pre Tryout options during (May 6th-July 12th, 2024): All Skills Clinics, Positionals, Camps, Invite Only, and Private/Group Lessons so our coaches and new/returning athletes can get to know you prior to the Acceptance Date - 7/16/2024. Players are evaluated based on their overall skill level, ball control, hustle, teamwork, athleticism, game IQ, and knowledge of the game.
- Introduce yourself at clinics to the coaches of your specific age division. Reach out to the head or assistant coach for the team or age division to let them know you are interested in trying to make the team for the upcoming club season! Set up a private lesson with a desired coach or coaches!
Tryout Window & Acceptance Date Timeline
Tryout Window for 2025 season (July 13-15th, 2024)
- Tryouts for all age groups will begin on Saturday July 13th, 2024. Returning players and new players to the club will have a final evaluation throughout this process. Verbal offers continue to be provided to returning and new players in a timely manner and our website will be updated to show if verbal offers have been promised, accepted, or if positions are still available. Verbal offers will be given until a team reaches 10-12 players.

Acceptance Date (Tuesday July 16th)
- Official offers will be emailed out using the Online Commitment System in the morning of July 16th to all players who have accepted a verbal commitment prior to July 16th. These OCS offers will need to be accepted immediately that morning to finalize and lock in their commitment for the 2024-2025 season. The OCS offer is a binding E-Signature and is an official contract through NTR/USAV and No Limits VBC. Players/Parents that do not accept the OCS offer that morning will be subject to losing their spot on said team and No Limits has the rights to offer that spot to any new athlete if we choose to do so.
- Parents/Players also are expected to provide the required physical paperwork as well as initial installment payments on Tuesday July 16th, 2024. Team emails will be sent with additional instructions, club documents, locations, and drop off times. If you will be out of town on July 16th please inform us via email (Director@nolimitsvbc.com), call, or text (817-455-2371). We will arrange something prior to departure or once you return to town!
- Players and Parents will need to repurchase their annual USAV membership on September 1st. No Limits will send out club affiliation emails through sports engine for everyone to accept No Limits VBC as their affiliated club for the 2024 season on September 1st.
Post Acceptance Date (July 17th-October 31st, 2024)
- All Clinics, Positionals, Camps, Invite Only Clinics, and Private/Semi/Group Lessons after Tuesday July 16th will be considered as a tryout/evaluation. Verbal offers will be given during this time frame to any new athlete at all age divisions that were not affiliated with No Limits last season to fill teams up to 10-12 players.
- Additional Tryouts might be held after the Acceptance Date to further complete teams that are still needing players to reach 10-12 athletes per team. These additional tryout dates and times are TBD.
Finalizing Club Teams
The skill level, number of players per team, and number of teams per age group will be determined during the tryout window period and overall finalized on the official acceptance/signing dates - July 16th, 2024. Once the official signing dates have concluded, we will host additional Positionals, Camps, Clinics, and Lessons for athletes who missed tryouts or did not sign with a team. During this time these players will be evaluated and offered contracts to join teams that are still looking for players based on their skill level and knowledge of the game.
Club Team Level Breakdown
No Limits Elite (National Level)
10-11 tournaments, numerous in-state and national travel tournaments. 2 mandatory team practices a week with 1-2 mandatory conditioning. Elite players who are expected to qualify for Regionals and Nationals, maintain a top 25 regional ranking, and work on or strive to receive a college scholarship
No Limits National (National/Regional Level)
10 tournaments, majority in-state/region travel with 1 national travel. 2 mandatory team practices a week with 1-2 mandatory conditioning. Advanced players who are expected to compete at a high level, maintain a competitive regional ranking (top 25-50), with qualifying for regionals being an expectation, and nationals still being a high priority/goal.
No Limits Regional (Regional Level)
8-10 tournaments, DFW metroplex travel only. 2 mandatory team practices a week. Intermediate to advanced level players wanting to play competitively, improve their skills, develop their mental and physical game, maintain a competitive regional ranking (top 50-75), with qualifying for regionals being a high priority/goal.)
ONLINE COMMITMENT SYSTEM
If your athlete is not in the OCS database they need to be added immediately! Players that are not found in the OCS will not be able to finalize their agreement with No Limits on the acceptance/signing dates. Please visit the following link - NTR VStar Volleyball and use the ‘Add My Player’ link to get your athlete added into the system.
Sports Engine Database
Players that already have accounts will update their Sports Engine info and club affiliation on Sept. 1st when their annual USAV memberships need to be renewed.
