Taylor Cooper
bio
Taylor is a native Texan born and raised in the Grapevine Colleyville area. He attended and graduated from Grapevine High School in 2009 and received his Exercise Sports Science degree from Texas Tech University in 2013. Taylor began his coaching career by coaching player development leagues in multiple different sports in the Grapevine and Colleyville area. While attending Texas Tech, he narrowed his focus to coaching volleyball due to playing for the Men’s club team and assisting with coaching the Women’s club volleyball team. During his three years playing on the Men’s club team at Tech the team reached the SIVA Championship tournament and the NIRSA tournament each year, along with winning a few titles listed below. Throughout the year during school breaks, Taylor involved myself in many A/AA level sand and indoor leagues to maintain a competitive playing level. Taylor has a strong passion for coaching, and believe fundamentals and a strong foundation are the keys to successfully reaching a higher level of competitive play.
