LJ Stuer

LJ has been coaching volleyball in the North Texas Region since 2010. He grew up around volleyball but was Nationally ranked Ice hockey player in his youth. LJ played professional hockey in British Columbia until 2008 when he medically retired from the game. Being a competitor and always having a love for volleyball and coaching brought him to TAV in 2010, where he started his coaching career and coached a variety of levels and ages. He took a small hiatus in 2016 to play volleyball at Nationally ranked Ottawa University. LJ has experience coaching at every age group from 11’s through 18’s as well as the high school level. LJ is a full time volleyball coach who loves to be in the gym and is always willing to put the extra work in. LJ also specializes in private lessons. He puts major emphasis on technique, work ethic and always expects 100% effort from all his players.
