I graduated from Missouri Valley College with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. After being recruited in 2009, I played 3 seasons of men's volleyball as a Libero in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA) Division I. MVC is where I was able to extend my knowledge of the game and fine tune my skill through playing in a leagues of highly competitive volleyball. I have been playing volleyball since he was 10 and still continues to do so today via local and national leagues.
My coaching experience extends as far back as 2006 when I was offered a position to coach the Junior Varsity team of the high school I graduated from. I coached my first season there before pursuing my educational goals. During my sophomore year, I was asked to assist the women's volleyball team at Haskell Indian Nations University as a student coach. This was my first high level coaching position I had held. After graduating college in 2012, I was hired as the head girls' volleyball coach for a high school in Dallas ISD. Here is where I had the most success. During that season I coached, the varsity team finally won their first game in over 3 years, additionally winning its first district games ever. My junior varsity team broke the record of most games won in a season. Following my coaching position in DISD, I took on the opportunity to coach club in 2014; I coached the two 14U teams. Currently, I continue to work with adults in lower level divisions of the leagues I plays in. I work with the board to help evaluate new players, run skill clinics and provide one-on-one sessions for those who want to improve their level of play. I have now been with No Limits for 3 seasons now and look forward to many more.
